L'Acqua è distruzione, è cambiamento. È la pioggia che lava via tutto quello che siamo stati, per farci rinascere in un nuovo essere. Riempie, allarga e ripulisce le ferite e trascina via la cenere sotto cui ci siamo nascosti. Ci scalfisce la pelle e penetra dentro di noi. Spegne il fuoco in cui siamo bruciati e dà vita alla terra in cui rinasceremo. Ci lascia bagnati, nudi e inermi come bambini appena abbando-nati. Solo allora possiamo guardarci per quello che siamo davvero.

Sì, ma non sono ciò che voglio e nemmeno ciò che vogliono gli altri. Non sono me e nemmeno sono in grado di dare vita autonoma e pieno controllo alla maschera, affinché s'imposssessi di me.
